Idaho Engagement Session
Quick check in before I do a deep dive on how magical this session was– These two humans are some of the kindest and have the most beautiful souls I have ever met. We hit it off during our first meeting at Crosby’s on Southport before they moved away from Chicago and decided to bring me out to capture them in their new world. We captured their adventurous side, and truthfully this session has a permanent place in my heart! We ended up spending the day hiking, creating some amazing memories, and capturing some of my new favorite photos that I’ll cherish forever, too.
Chiara and Matt loaded the car, grabbed their fireball shots to keep warm, and hit “play” on Big Booty mix for our scenic drive into the mountains. It was a giant dance party!! As we were heading out, the forecast called for snow which meant we were fully anticipating the dreamiest winter wonderland vibes. We knew we were in for an adventure. 🙂

On our way up the mountain, there was a beautiful field that I belted out for Matt to pull over, and Chiara said: “I WAS RIGHT!!!”. I guess they made bets with each other that I was going to make them stop before we got to our destination 😉 This set gives whimsical mountain vibes and I love how it feels so ‘them’. The happy smiles!!! I won’t ever get over it. As you scroll through to the bottom, they threw on beanies and took a few with their Jeep. It’s giving *chill romance*. Like they’re about to throw snowboards in the trunk and board down this mountain instead of driving home. 10/10 would recommend driving though, after the tundra we experienced.
Can’t help but smile so big knowing they trust me to create a vision for them and bring it to life. Can not wait for their dream wedding this year!
